The Giza Plateau, home of the most impressive ancient monuments in the world, including the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and a number of other large pyramids and temples. Giza has always been a focal point in Egypt's history due to its location close to Memphis, the ancient pharaonic capital of the Old Kingdom.
Luxor, home to some of the greatest antiquities of the ancient world within the heart of the city including a number of temple complexes and the Avenue of Sphinxes that once linked Luxor and Karnak temples.
Arrive in Cairo and meet your tour guide behind immigration for help with the entry process. Once you have received your luggage, you will either proceed on your drive to Cairo or spend the first night at the Airport Hotel, depending on the time of the day you arrive. Overnight at Marriott Mena House Cairo close to the pyramids.
This morning you will be collected by your driver, for your scheduled private guided tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, and Sakkara for as long as time and interest permit. Transfer back to your venue. Later in the evening, your party will transfer to an optional Giza Light and Sound Show.
Today you will take in a scheduled visit of the Cairo Museum for as long as time and interest permits.
Today you will enjoy some sightseeing around Cairo, including the market and the old part of the city - Coptic Cairo. After your visit, you will return to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Overnight Stegenberger Nile Palace Luxor.
Today, your guide will pick you up and take you to the dock where your cruise ship, Sonesta St George is located. Check-in at your Nile Cruise and start your sightseeing in Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, the West Bank, and many more. You will stay on the cruise ship for 4 nights, sailing south on the river Nile to Aswan.
Check out from the cruise ship at your leisure. In Aswan visit the Nubian Village. Enjoy an early dinner here (at your own account), then transfer back to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo and check into your Airport Hotel room for an overnight stay or a few hours of rest before your flight out of Cairo and onwards.
